Who am I?
Hi!! I'm Diana and I'm the creator and writer of this blog. I’m also a mother to a 4 year baby girl, a full-time accountant and a side hustler at heart. I’m a passionate photographer, graphic designer, TN notebook maker, and vintage seller with four Etsy shops, and an Amazon Shop. As you can see I love the art of the side hustle. I thrive on all these aspects of my life including motherhood, blogging, traveling, and side hustles.
My Mom Journey
One of the best things that has ever happened to me was becoming a mom. I always knew that motherhood was something I truly wanted and I thought that when the time came I wouldn't have any issues. I thought that it would be easy. Boy was I wrong! But evidently it happened and I became a mother of a beautiful girl!
Soon after I decided to start this blog and write about motherhood but not just about parenting because I’m no expert on parenting. I wanted to share what I found along the way, whether it was about first foods, traveling with our baby girl, photography tips for taking pictures of these little angles or about my side hustles, such as my Etsy shops.
My Etsy Journey
Another great thing that happened to me was finding a passion that I loved and that I could make money with. I had always loved photography and started selling some of my photos to some friends and co-workers. Eventually, I decided to sell my photography online. I chose Etsy as my platform of choice but of course I didn’t know anything about selling online.
After some talking with a friend of a friend I opened my first Etsy shop. I still didn’t know what I was doing so that first shop layed empty for a couple of months. I added some items but of course I didn’t sell anything.
I finally just stepped away and researched and researched all about Etsy and what I needed to do to get views and sales. Only after a lot of reading, I figured out what I was doing wrong. To be honest, I wish I had taken an Etsy course to learn all about Etsy’s platform and how to get views and make sales. It would have saved me a lot of time and would have gotten me some sales faster! Now I have four main shops and working on the 5th. Here are three of my five shops if you want to check them out:
Photography: Wonderlust Photos
Vintage Ephemera: Red Little Vintage
Wall Art Prints: Wonderlust Wall Art
I have two other shops that need more tender loving care from me but these plus Amazon and life keep me very busy (which I love by the way).
I created The Etsy Launch Lab because of this. I want to help women and especially mothers to open their very own Etsy shop. I created this course so you will have all the information you need to open your shop in 30 days or less. No more need to search the internet for information and waste valuable time.
Thanks for reading about my journey!
