Taking care of ourselves is very important not only for us but for our children and families. There are so many ways that we can do that, from eating healthy, to being mindful and being a minimalist.
I wasn’t always a keeper of a diary or journal but at the tail end of my pregnancy, I had an urge to start documenting my pregnancy and motherhood journey. It was my first child and I started to feel like I needed to leave something behind for her for when she got older. From there I went from not journaling to journaling a lot.

Earlier I wrote a post called 30 Minimalist Challenge for Moms and in that post, I suggested that you take a few minutes and get rid of items you haven't used and that aren't good for you.
